Big oval grey Spinel. Seed pearl Halo around a tiny twinkly halo of Diamond or White Sapphire or Moissanite, it would be such a thin line of sparkle I don’t really mind which, whatever was easiest for the jeweler.

I would get a peachy morganite in rose gold, like this HALO 2.35ct Morganite .32ct Diamond Claw Prongs Solid 14K Rose Gold Wedding RingHALO 2.35ct Morganite .32ct Diamond Claw Prongs Solid 14K Rose Gold Wedding RingHALO 2.35ct Morganite .32ct Diamond Claw Prongs Solid 14K Rose Gold Wedding Ring

I wouldn’t change mine. Because my budget was $150 and had trouble finding a ring like I wanted, that looked vitnage and had embellishments (filigram) on the sides. Luckily, my dream band was waiting for me in the discount pile at the jeweler. 50% off. $142. Tell you guys, it was destiny, yep yep ! Cool

I’d go with a sapphire (#1 or #2) or blue diamond (#3).

But I am intrigued by this emerald:

@Someday_Mrs_Maguire:  That ring is beautiful too!

The only thing I would’ve done differently is research the setting more. I chose the basic least expensive solitaire, and didn’t pay attention that it was 2.9mm wide. A week after I ordered the ring I saw a picture of a stone my size in that setting and did not like the proportions at all! The nice people at Brian Gavin were great – they worked with me at ordering a thinner 2mm shank, but I’m pretty sure had I thought of that before placing the order the ring would’ve been hear much earlier.

It’s not a huge deal at all, but the whole “please do something about the shank width a week into putting my ring together” part was a touch stressful.

This one! It’s both my boys’ birthstones… I love it! ALthough to bump up the budget I’d have it set in platinum!

@wrkbrk:  I am going to cheat, and answer with a different cut rather than a different stone.  I have a round that I love and wouldn’t change.  If I couldn’t get a round, then I would get a cushion halo.  They’re so pretty!
