Then I have the recipe of the year for you!
Hubbys birthday was the 15th and I wanted to make him something special. Cheesecake is my specialty and I’ve always wanted to make a red velvet cake. I did some searching on the internet and came across this recipe and it was a winner!
I made the cheesecake and cake in the morning and assembled it at night. The only change I made to the recipe was I added two teaspoons of lemon juice to the cheesecake mix.
Although steps seem tedious it is a simple recipe!

That looks soooo good. I love cheesecake while my FI loves red velvet cake – it is the best of both worlds!

This is my favorite cheesecake at the cheesecake factory! I actually made one of these earlier this year, much easier though. Just make the red velvet cake and spoon in the cheesecake mixture and cook at one. Was delicious!

I have to admit that this would give The Cheesecake Factory’s version a great run for its money!
