I love my vendors (my florist and photog) I know that we are paying them for their services but I appreciate them so much I want to give them something special on our wedding day (not just a tip) as a way to say thank-you. Have any of you bees done this and if so what was your token of appreciation?

My mom gave my brother’s wedding planner a nice check as well as a gift. I believe she gave her some sort of pottery like a plate or something.

I wanted to take my photog home with me, I loved her so!
I didn’t give her a gift, but on the advice of another friend of mine (another photog), I simply mailed her a heartfelt thank-you note and then pumped up her yelp page, website, and any other outlet that she was listed on with glowing reviews.

My token of appreciation will be cash tips over and above our bill. My take is that they would probably prefer cash over a gift, but that’s just me.

@BothCoasts: thats a good point about the pages. Theyd probably really appreciate a nice review, because although people might love them often they might not send in glowing reviews/recommendations
