I would own a book cafe. A big space, in one section where people can buy books and then walk through to a cafe area, with lots of big arm chairs and little spots to have a snack/ coffee/ lunch. I’m thinking fire places, chandeliers, lots of cushions…
Can you tell that I’ve clearly been on holidays for too long?

I would have the same thing! Maybe not the cafe part though

Some kind of specialty art store. I’m a real art supplies snob, haha.

I would love to have a gallery or a coffee shop.

Except I wouldn’t sell any… So it’d probably be more of a pet zoo…

@Cornmuffin09: LOL that would be perfect on a stressful work day, leave and go pet kittens on my lunch hour 🙂

Maybe a board game shop, so I could sell board games (new and used), and have an area in the back where people could drop by and play games.

My aunt used to own a comic book cafe. It had sofa chairs with tables, and people could order drinks and food. People could read (pay by the hour), rent, or buy books. I used to love going there!
I would love to have a little independent coffee shop.

I DO own a shop–it’s a flower shop/gift shop (I mostly sell purses and jewelry.) I also recently opened a paint-your-own-pottery studio! There is nothing better than owning your own business!

I would love love love to own my own antique/ home decorating shop. My FI and I met working in an antique auction. He worked there for about 8 years and me for 6 years. We are both happy we moved on, but can’t help but miss all the furniture and home decorating stuff that went through there. Maybe buy furniture and lighting and fix them up and sell them at affordable prices. Nothing too big, just something to take on as a hobby. We will own our own shop one day. It’s in our next 10 year plan 🙂
