There are a lot of options between planners. Some planners offer assistants and other services.  There is a huge range between a day of coordinator and full planning.

Yes, I think your poll results will be more accurate if you stated what you were looking for exactly. For example, my coordinator has about a $1000 difference between DOC and full service, and there are some add-ons on top of that (e.g. favor assembly).

FWIW, I only need a DOC and it was about $950. However, she was the least expensive out of all three I reached out to. The other DOC were about $1100.

The venue I’m using is a lady I actually knew already, so for the venue and her planning it ended up being 1500. She’s helping soo much!

$750 (i think.. i remember having a discount because she was also our florist so i cant remember if it was 750 with the discount or if we got a discount off of the 750… but our discount was $200… so we paid either 550 or 750)

but she was our day of coordinator (and florist) only. i did everything else leading up to the day. she just went to my reception hall in the am and got centerpieces, chairs, etc set up and kept things moving during the reception. our flowers + DOC was $2100.

I have a week of coordinator, which is basically a step up from a DOC but not a planner.  The cost is $1400, which is a discount from her normal rate of $2000.

A bit of a tip- using a planner will save you money with vendors, they have hook up. They will save you enough in other vendors fees to pay for the planning itself. A good planner is so worth taking away a lot of planning stress. Certainly go for a day of coordinator if you can.

We are getting married in Orlando doing a DOC. We were originally getting quotes around $1500 for DOC, which I thought was ridiculously expensive…especially considering that I had already planned everything and just wanted someone to come in and take care of the last minute details and schedule the day of. We found someone just a few weeks ago that gave us the very reasonable price of $475.
