Is the poll asking if we would like it, or if it’s tacky? Personally I like the idea. 🙂

@lauraashley09:  That’s a great idea!  We only did bombonierre as favours, because I find so many of them serve no purpose to the guest, but cost you five or ten dollars.  That seems silly when you’ll just throw them away, or they’ll just collect dust.  I love mad libs, so I would have fun doing it.  I would definitely go away remembering that bit of your wedding.

@lauraashley09:  The mad libs and pens are cute, but…meh. I say save your money.

How is the mad lib a favor? It’s not about the guest at all, it’s about you.

Skip the favor. Not all of your female guests will have purses to slip a pen and you will wend up with a b unch n of those left on the table too.

I think they’re cute, but I wouldn’t consider it a favor. That being said, I don’t mind if favors are skipped!

Hmmm I’m a little confused… so the favor itself is just the pen, right? The mad lib thing would be something they use the pen to fill out and then leave with you so you can read them? Also, are you talking about personalizing the pens with your names/wedding date? If so, I would not take one. Sorry.

I don’t get how mad libs are a favor. You could do a mad libs guestbook and give the pens as favors though. Or skip favors because they really aren’t necessary.

@lauraashley09:  I never really liked doing or reading madlibs, so it’s really not for me.  I wouldn’t mind the pen, but at a wedding I wouldn’t be carrying anything to put it in, so it really wouldn’t be great for me.
