…where would you be hiding?
I can’t handle it, ladies! I know my SO has the ring, but I have no idea where! Part of me thinks it’s not at the house, but in his car or at work or something…
Part of me wants to rip apart the house, but part of me doesn’t want to ruin the surprise…or tear the whole damn house apart when it’s not even in here! Grr!! 🙁 Why do I have no patience…

No no!!! Don’t ruin the surprise! It’s bad enough you already know he has it! I knew, and I knew when it was going to happen and everything. I REALLY wish I hadn’t, although it was still wonderful. DON’T RUIN THE SURPRISE!! 🙂

Lmao just by reading the title I knew that second half of the question would be hiding there! I feel the same way almost sometimes…..except I know he doesn’t have it quite yet…but when he does, I will want to find it.

I know it’s hard, but hang in there!
You’ll see it soon enough!
And if you accidentally find it in the box… try to keep it closed and guess what’s inside. But try not to peek!
(I had the package under my nose for an entire day and managed not to peek. And I normally have very poor self control!)
Think of Christmas presents! Only a 1000 times bigger!
BTW: if I were an e-ring and I were at home, I’d be in the sock drawer, comfortably hiding in a pair of thick woolen socks 😛

@turante: *runs to the sock drawer* hahaha no Im joking! But seriously I’m soooo impatient right now
I also already know what it is…just haven’t seen it in person!

@kendra389: Don’t spoil the surprise. You’ll feel super guilty!
I would hide in a sock drawer though lol. Not too creative but dark and comfy.

@kendra389: DON’T DO IT!!! I was in your position about 6 weeks ago and boy am I glad I didn’t look for it, that moment when you first see it is just amazing, plus no faking for your future FI, 100% real surprise/shock/amazement/happiness 🙂 hope you’re not waiting too much longer!!
But in case you’re interested, my FI hid my ring initially under a palm leaf hat he has at the top of his wardrobe (out of my reach) then transferred it to his safe 😉

@kendra389: Don’t do it! You really don’t want to ruin the surprise for yourself. Plus, it might not even be in the house. My DH did not trust me not to look for it (and rightfully so because I definitely checked out the sock drawer) and left it at his mom’s until the night before! You are only going to make yourself CRAZY!

Hehe thanks ladies…no worries, I looked in a few places and then quit. I cant imagine how pissed I’ll be if I search for a few hours and find nothing! Plus I agree with @Corgi-cariad: about faking the surprise…I’m a chronic peaker, and I saw my b-day present right before he gave it to me (he went to the bathroom and I ripped through his douffel bag because I knew he didn’t have time to wrap it…and then I put it back) and then I had to try so hard to act surprised :-/ it kind of sucked haha
I know all about the ring, but haven’t seen it yet. I also want to find it so I can try it on, because he ordered it 1/4 smaller than I told him to! wtf is up with that??? So now I’m all sorts of nervous it will be too small…he should have ordered 1/4 size up 🙁 BTW he has no idea I know about all of this…i’m a professional snooper

I’d be hidden somewhere you could never find me;) Like a bank vault, hehe!

LOL!!!! Definitely wait it out 🙂 It’ll be worth it, I promise! I had a suspicion my FI had the ring as well, and he kept it in a hidden zipped pocket of his motorcycle jacket! They can be sneaky 😉 Please let him surprise you – the genuine emotion on your face would be hard to feign 🙂
