I guess the second one? I'm not a big fan of hearts and "LOVE" mushy stuff. If someone gave this to me, I might use it as a reusable grocery bag. Maybe.
Can't you just give them something that has a cool pattern or color on it? Not everything wedding-related has to be "OMG LOVE LOVE IS EVERYWHERE"
Probably the second one if I had to choose, but I'm not big into the love and hearts stuff, I don't know how much I would use it
These are awsome! I have seen many many tote bags, but these are so different! I love the concept!
I definitely think that the L.O.V.E bag is more universal especially for your single friends.
I'm also putting a bunch of cool stuff in tote bags I designed myself. Here is my design. I can't wait to get them! I ordered them from vistaprint

If all of your ladies would be into hearts and love, I'd vote for number two. Personally, I'm with a couple of the PPs - I don't really care for hearts all over stuff, so I'd definitely prefer a bag with some cool pattern on it.
I think the totes are a great idea! But, I'm also with those people who aren't into mushy stuff like that. If I were single and a bridesmaid I might be like "ugggg I get it!" lol. Hope that doesn't offend!
Ladies I appreciate all the comments and opinions. I totally hear what some of you are saying about not being into hearts. I'm usually not into hearts either and would certainly never wear them or have jewelry with them or something. But i guess I figured this would be cute for a totebag because tote bags are so utilitarian and boring anyways. All of mine have company logos on them and such. And at the end of the day, it's just a totebag.
Keep the votes and comments coming ladies. I'm still undecided. For the ladies who don't like the hearts and love stuff, what sort of tote would you prefer?
I have no idea how much these cost, but I would prefer something more neutral like this that I could carry more places.
I voted for love languages, but I might be biased, I got those for my girls!! I love them. They look great in person too.
What about a quotation that's kinda personalized? Something from their favorite book or movie or silly or inspiring quote. Maybe do a facebook challenge to figure it out from them.
I made several of these a few years ago on some personalizing site which lets you pick your own colors and fonts and sizes etc so you can make them look fancier than just black Times text. I love them.
I said the love never fails tote but I think both are awesome! Id happily take either one
I'm in the anti-hearts/love camp. There's some seriously cute totes with random sayings on them - or made out of recycled materials. I really like the ones that kaya_way posted, as well.
Check out the resuable roll-up bags on this link:
Three designs and only $11!
Why is everyone so down on the love and hearts? It's a wedding, Isn't that the point? It makes more sense to me than a random pattern or quote. I mean if your at a WEDDING don't you brace yourself (especially if your single) for gushy love stuff? I don't think a heart on a bag would push me over edge.
I think both are tasteful and cool, I really like the idea of the second one but from a design standpoint it's not my fave. 1st is clean and simple
I love the second one. So cute and you can use the bag for anything. I am assuming this isn't your only gift. Instead of buying a gift bag you are buying something reusable. I think its great. The second one is a total winner.
I also wouldn't use one that had hearts or love stuff on it. Nothing against those who like them, I just don't care for love imagry. I'd much rather have one that was either plain or more neutral in theme.
Ladies, thank you for all your input. I'm erring on the side of all those of you who said they wouldn't want to use a tote with hearts and love on it. Instead my BMs are getting these totes:

Thanks for all your help ladies!
@miss.skinner: yes you are correct, this isn't the only gift. This is the "gift wrapping." Their actual gifts are BCBG bracelets and a flipcam.

So instead of wrapping my girls' BM gifts, I decided to put them in a tote bag so they can atleast re-use it, (instead of throwing away the wrapping).
I've narrowed it down to these two because I think they are cute and could suit all the girls.
Which of these would you rather receive?
1. Love Languages tote: comes in many color combos with different color bags and printing.
2. Love Never Fails tote: comes in white on black or black on neutral. The text is the "love is patient" passage.
