…What dress would it be?
It’s friday so lets have some fun! We all have our personal tastes I know. I always see dresses that I know on me would not work one bit but look amazing “over there”.
I picked a sheath, so I think the opposite would be a ballgown. Personally, they are not my cup of tea. But when I saw this one I said to myself “damn if I wanted a ballgown it would be this one”
So tell me, what is your favorite dress that’s opposite of yours?

Hmmmm, my dress was an A-line and strapless so either a sheath or mermaid style with straps would be opposite. *please note, I don’t have the body to pull off these dresses, but I think each one is super sexy/elegant*

I wore a big ballgown, and since I’m a bigger girl I could never pull it off a form fitting dress. But if I were smaller I would love to wear Maggie Sottero Adorae.

@StarryNight2011: theyre pretty!
@Lyndzo: the adorae looks great on nearly everyone, its got magic powers. did you ever try it on?

I think it would be this one. Unfortunately I looked awful in that style!
This is the one I decided on:

I picked an A-line (that I may get tailored to be a little more trumpet-y because it kind of looks like it should). I guess the opposite would either be a huge ballgown or a true mermaid that’s form fitting down to the knee and flares waaay out.
This is my DREAM ballgown. Don’t have a dream mermaid, but there are a lot of Maggie gowns that I think are beautiful.

@Lyndzo: Me too! And I did try it on and showed it to the bee…the results were not favorable. My stomach/hip area does not curve in a way that looks good at all in that silhouette. But I loved my a-line/ballgown dress!

I’d so a fit and flare/trumpet. Instead I’m actually doing ballgown.
