Weddingbee boards

I'm definitely wearing a bolero.  It's satin with a satin-y ruffled collar and long sleeves (being made from the beaded train of my dress; Ann Barge).   It's similar to the Bonzie.  Anyhow, the bodice of my dress is very fitted and heavily bones, slight sweetheart neckline, pushes up the bust nicely.... and for sure I am wearing a necklace -- but a choker! They are fabulous.  One very sparkly one is on its way from Glamour Goddess (on line), but I went to M & J Trimming in nyc this weekend and got a gorgeous yard of metallic silver lace (similar to the beading on my dress) to possibly use as a three-inch wide choker instead of the rhinestone.

all of which is to say -- and I had fun sharing and I hope it was helpful -- that you shouldn't toss out the idea of pairing a bolero (which are divine, I think, and in fact accentuate the bodice of a dress and the neckline, if you ask me, and give it a little something extra) with a fabulous choker or collar-length necklace.  Try some on, you'll see!
