@NAvery:  I have had mine for almost a year. I have probably tried it on maybe 3 times. Mostly just because I love it, but once because I thought I might want something else, and when I put it on I remembered why I loved it. My dress I guess is pre-alterations, even though as long as I wear heels it actually fit me like a glove, no alterations needed!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ I lucked out on that one! The only thing that I would ever have to change was to shorten it if for any crazy reason I decided to wear flats (I love me some high heels! So that wont happen) I leave mine in the garment bag and in the closet though, and I am super careful when trying it on so that I dont damage it in any way.

I had it for a very long time and I only tried it on once.  I have black pets and didn’t want to get any black pet hair on it!!

Had mine since August, I tried it on carefully 3x but now I just go open the guest room closet, unzip the garment bag admire it and walk back out. I need to look for places for alterations to have it hemmed once I decide on heels or flats. I bought it gently used so it has alterations done to take in the sides on the torso and crinoline added to the skirt but I will want some more work done so it fits me perfect. Smile

I’ve had mine since last month but I haven’t tried it on at home. One, I don’t have anyone to help me in it. Two, I fear the second I take it out of the bag it will get dog hair on it. My little lab/beagle puppy’s black hairs get on everything!

Not saying I don’t wish I could lay around in it sometimes! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I am going to take it in for alterations soon so I’ll get to try it on then!

@alaskin17:  lol i do, well almost everyday. Probably a good 4-5 times a week after I get out of the shower it’s there. I have 8 months to go so I should probably put it away so I don’t get sick of it!

@NAvery:  I have NEVER tried it on and I’ve had it in my home for a month. I check on it every once in a while. I don’t know – I guess I’m a little scared of something happening to it… like a “murphy’s law” situation.

I had it for 4-5 months before I took it to alterations, and didn’t try it on once. I’m just… too paranoid. What if I trip and rip the tulle? What if my hands are oily and stain it? What if, what if, what if.

I recently got to have it on for alterations, <3 but before that the last time I had it on was at the salon.
