Ugh girls, I sucked bigtime this week.  Actually I was pretty good during the week, but we went to a fabulous music festivals put on by good friends, and basically drank beer and ate a bunch of crap all weekend.  :/  Oh well… It’s a new week.

Weight Lost This Week: -2 lbs  (Hopefully some of this is water weight from all the crap.)

Total Weight Loss:  5 lbs 

Plan for this week:  Running 4-5 miles a day, light arms workout, South Beach Diet phase 1 (except for Saturday, bachelorette party).

I did really well this week! Worked out 4 times, walked the other days, stayed on my diet.  I think I had some water weight from last week that dropped off too.

total lost: 29 lbs

Week of 7/28

Weight Lost This Week: 1.5 lbs

Total Weight Loss: 3.5 lbs

I re evaluated my goal weight to a more healthy bmi, so I have 12.5 pounds to go until I hit 115!

The weekend went really badly for me with a night out to a dinner, then to bar, then to chinese food at 1 am so hopefully I can make up for it this week.

I’m stuck at my mom’s house this week and she doesn’t have a scale.

But this week: my pants fit better! 😀


Also, I temporarily stopped with the meal replacement shakes, because for some unknown reason, my appetite has really diminished. I haven’t been counting calories, but even though I cheated this week with bad food, I’ve probably been eating half the amount of food I usually do. 

I think that’s quite an accomplishment, considering that I haven’t exercised at all (still cramping up).


Improvements for this week: I need to drink more water (probably why I cramp up), stop eating cheeseburgers, and start exercising again (maybe walking?).

Total Weight Loss: 11 lbs

I went home this weekend so that definitely put a damper on my dieting goals, but definitely worth it.  This week my goal is to walk/jog for 45 minutes each night and do weight training 3 nights.  I really want to start crossfit if I can find a place that isn’t crazy expensive.

Weight Lost This Week: +2lbs 🙁

Total Weight Loss: 8 lbs

This was a bad week. We took the kids to a movie, (movie popcorn is my weakness) the county fair (can anyone say ELEPHANT EARS?!). While the weather was gorgeous and we were outside a lot, I more than overcompensated with all the crappy food I ate.

I promise to be better this week. Ok. Not really. FI and I are getting married Friday. That means good food, good cake and good booze. 

I just hope I don’t go even farther backwards! (Oh, I had a donut at the office this morning). I’ll get back on track, I swear!aaaaahhh

Lost nothing!!!..:( but started p90x last night with FH and I have to say, he’s in worse shape than I am. HA! I’m not happy about that, just surprised. But yeh.

Ahh stressful week and not much exercise so no weight loss, but at least there wasn’t a gain. Going on a long weekend to the beach and I was hoping to feel a bit more confident in my bikini. Sigh. We have a pool party to attend on 08/10 so my new goal is to work hard and feel better about my appearance by then.

Week of 7/28

Weight Lost This Week: 0lbs

Total Weight Loss: 16lbs

I am glad I didn’t gain this week but sad I didn’t lose. I started the week off strong, staying in my calories goals and working out. I let it slip at the end of the week (Thurs/Fri/Sat). However, Sunday I went for my run and I shaved 2 minutes off my total time! 

Goals this week are to limit my cheat days to 1 and get 3 more workouts in!

Hi everyone! So I just got home after a week of being away and I have gained so much weight. so now I am back up to my heaviest again 🙁 

i am trying not to dwell on it and move forward making healthy choices and getting back to a workout routine. 

Also, if anyone as any good lunch ideas that would be great!! 

Congrats to other IITTI bees on their progress!!

Well, when I posted Monday morning, I was up 2 pounds from a weekend of indulgence :/  Obviously some of that is just water weight, and I’ve been doing well since then, so I’m back to where I was last week: 118 lbs.  

I’ll take it!  That puts me back at 8 lbs total lost since I started getting back into gear in late January (at 5’5″ 126 lbs).

Bachelorette party this weekend, so I’ll definitely booze it up on Saturday, but I’m going to TRY to keep the eating healthy and get in morning runs before the fun starts.

@Jamjam:  Hey girl!  I eat almost the same thing for lunch every day:

a) scrambled eggs (usually 1 egg, a couple egg whites) with half a chopped bell pepper and salsa (make in the AM and heat up at lunch) – tasty, filling, healthy

b) big baby spinach salad with chopped peppers or carrots, craisins, lite dressing, and grilled chicken / steak / salmon / beans.  We buy meat when it’s on sale, freeze it in quart ziplocks with marinade, then just defrost and broil or grill it when you need salad toppings.  This is also REALLY filling and the grilled meat (or beans) makes it very yummy and satisfying

c) healthy veggie-rich stew, soup, and chili.  We cook up a big batch in the crockpot and then freeze servings in glass tupperware containers.  You can defrost those whenever you need a great meal.  ALSO filling, satisfying, healthy.

Week of : 7/28

Weight loss: 1 measly pound 

Total weight loss:1 pound, just started weighing myself.

I’m dissappointed by losing only 1 pound, I worked out a lot and have been eating well with the exception of a cheat day Frown. I have 20 more pounds to go so it’s not like I am near my goal weight. Just have to keep plugging away I guess.
