Hi everyone! My fiance and I just moved in together and we barely have any furniture. We were thinking about purchasing the ikea ektorp couch. We are debating b/w the L shaped couch and the regular 3 seater. Does anyone have an ektorp couch? Do you like it? Any negatives?

Any insight would be helpful! Thanks!

We do! And we LOVE it! In red...and the Ektorp armchair to go along with it...super comfy (isn't Ikea the best?).

We have the regular EKTORP (3 seater) and really like it. We've had it for almost 3 years, but it's still in good condition. It's comfortable and I really love that you can replace the cover for it. We just recently got a new cover (in the dark blue) and it looks like a whole new couch. I think for the price, EKTORP is a great couch!

We have the Ektorp 3 seater as well. We have 2 of the covers so we can change them anytime to change the look of the living room. It is super comfy and as many of my houseguests can attest it is very comfortable to sleep on.

I LOVE Ikea. It is such a great place to get all of your furniture. Our entire apartment is like 90% furnished by Ikea.
