I recently stumbled upon an extremely creative way someone decorated their dinner plates to match their peacock themed wedding. (link at the bottom of the post)
Our wedding is outdoors and we will need to use disposable dishes so i instantly fell in love with this idea! the original poster used food coloring and powdered sugar but since ours are dinner buffet plates Id prefer not to use sugar. Here are the plates we bought from sams club.
Any ideas on how to adhere a design onto these plates???

That is such a cool idea!
I wonder if you can go to Michael’s and find something you could use in their cake/baking aisle. I’m not sure, but maybe a simple food coloring would work to stamp it with it. That way it wouldn’t taste like anything.

You can get a stamp in your theme from any local craft store and also when you are there, pick up a stamp inkpad called Stazon. you can now get it in other colors. What I would then do is stamp onto the back of the plate so you never have to worry about food touching it. That way, you still get the effect even after they finish their meal. Great idea on the plates though! I wish I would have thought of that! Good Luck!

@melissafox17: I was gonna say the same thing!! stamping under the plate makes so much more sense that way the stamp lasts all night
