@Starletise:  Oh my gosh you lucky duck!! I love Scotland. I have such wonderful memories of travelling around Skye (not touristy at all IMO- tourist-friendly but definitely not like our Disneyland over here 🙂

This is making me want to elope right now lol!

@kestane:  You are right, not touristy. A lot of tourists do go there to visit, but it is still very true to the area and still has a very village feel to the island. It is lovely – the views are spectacular!

@sienna76:  Yeah, it is quite remote. Well, this region in general is quite remote – where I am is 60 miles from the nearest ‘town’. It’s a really friendly place and very much stays true to highland hospitality

@sienna76:  I LOOOOOOVE Isle of Skye. I went there many times when I lived in Scotland and then again when I went back to visit (the bridge was finally free!). It is such a magical and beyond other wordly gorgeous. The most amazing place is the Eilean Donan Castle. We happened to be there during a wedding and it was magnificent!

It is pretty far north and you get to take a fun bridge to get there. Not remote in my mind considering Americans drive several hours to work each way. My Scottish friends though seemed to think that a 4 hour (or more) roadtrip was a bit much without staying overnight. Just depends on your perspective I suppose.

Omg, soooo incredibly romantic! Normally, I wouldn’t be happy with rain and fog, but it seems really perfect for the location. Love your boots, too! Stunning photos!! The one where he’s doing your buttons got me all teary lol

Edit: Oh haha just read you were browsing the internet and found these! Well, stunning photos anyways Embarassed
