yesterday, i ran about a busy Valentine's day... and went in for my try-on... I FELL IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN!! here are some pics... don't mind the scrubbiness of the bride LOL, just admire the dress!!

i wasn't into getting anything particular, and found this gem for $1100!! :)

i STILL HAVE TO GET ALTERATIONS!!! ARGGGH. taken in on the hips a bit and a bustle added is going to cost me an additional 2-300 ... RIDONKULOUSSS

I brought mine home :S I look at it EVERYDAY!! My FI has been really good about not peaking. Your altrations aren't much, the dress seems to be made for your body! But wow, that is a lot for alterations! At least for around here. I had mine taken in, panel added, shortened, 5-point French bustle, and the neckline changed, and it was only $235!

thank you so much bees! this is the only place i can "safely" post pics without FI getting wind of these pictures! he almost already saw them in my e-mail once... i'm not chancing that happening!
besides my BM's (via e-mail) you bees are the only other women (and men) i'd share this with!!!
so what should i wear as a necklace/earring set with this dress!? obvi, the classic answer is pearls... but i feel like pearls might clash with the design of the beading on the dress... ( i know it's hard to see )

I think the standard pearl necklace [aka the wedding necklace] would give it a really simple understated elegance. Are you wearing a veil? If you're not you can do more of a statement necklace if that's up your alley? IMHO :o)
