@heathaah - thank you!! i was super happy with the way the cake turned out as well. we did have issues getting the cake on our plates though lol while we were cutting it the DJ at some point was like "um... He is going to be a doctor, right?"

@everyone - thank you!! i'm glad you liked the pics and i was super excited to share them with you! :) although looking at them makes me a bit sad because i'm having the first bit of wedding planning withdrawls lol

CONGRATULATIONS!  YOu looked....um, STUNNING!    Funny, I was about to PM you and ask you how the etsy veil worked out.   That's the one, right?  What color is that?  Was it awkward to wear?  How long did it take to order?  Tell me, tell me!   I LOVE IT.

lol @ VirginiaMarie, thank you!! And I L-O-V-E-D the veil! I got it made in the off-white, my dress was actually ivory but when I brought the samples in the ivory that the maker had was a little too dark up next to my dress so I went with the off-white. It stayed in my hair really, really well and it didn't even feel heavy at all (and it was a little bit of a windy day, but that baby stayed secure with zero reinforcement!). I'm so glad I went with it because I love the pictures with it especially outside, I feel like it makes the photos so romantic looking! And really it only took 2 weeks to get to me :) The most nerve wracking part about it was ironing the wrinkles out because it came in a pretty small cardboard box.  At first we tried to steam it but that didn't work too well (might have just been our steamer) so then my mom ironed it and it worked perfectly. The maker sent care instructions with it, we were just so scared we would burn it if we ironed it but it worked out well :) I would definitely recommend it to any bride!
