I'm sorry to the bees who are annoyed by the chatting threads....but I'm seriously addicted! I like hearing about how your day to day non-wedding related  normal days are going!

I'm sitting here at work, and anyone who follows this regularly probably thinks I must work for Weddingbee since it seem that is what I do all day. But really work is just kind slow and I'm just trying to pass the time.

Anyways... I've decided the only good things about Tuesdays are, at least they aren't Mondays! How's it going out there?

I love the chat threads when I join them early b/c then I don't feel out of the loop after they're 5+ pages long.  Today is reserved for studying--I've only been on the Bee for 15 minutes sporadically and I'm proud of myself!

HAHA.  Funny.  Tuesday sucks for me.  Almost as bad as Monday cause Tue and Wed I have class after work from 6-9.  So Monday sucks cause... its Monday, then Tue and Wed suck cause of class, then Thursday its all good again cuase I have every other Friday off (or the option of coming in for some OT)

@pinkshoes: & @beekiss2: I 2nd The futureMcbride's applause. I don't know what I would have done if I found the bee when I was still in school and especially in the late classes.  I remember I spent one class before I graduated on craigslist looking for roommates before I started my graudate program. I would seriously spend the whole class just e-mailing people.

@TheFutureMcBride:  Lol, thanks.  I was giving myself a break from reading some British literature (that requires me to read over like 10 times to understand what they're talking about).

@divergirl:  It can be a bit tricky to get hw done.  Last night I told myself to do hw, but then I spent 4 hours surfing weddingbee instead.  Today is different, I'm capping my time on here 15 minute increments and after substantial work.  I still have papers to write--so I'm off!  Good luck ladies w/ your Tuesdays!

oh my, I dont think i'd be able to read any kind of literature.. my mind was just not made for that.  I'd just end up on the bee, or looking on overstock.com for just about anything I can

@beekiss2: Are you an English major? I miss reading for class. Now I read boring proposals.

@beekiss2: ewe papers... that is the one thing I absolute dread having to do. I always ended up procrastinating, I ended up writing a 25 page single spaced paper in one night, ok I did have 8 pages written before that. Probably wasn't my best work, but got the job done.

I dreaded papers, but I'd rather have them than work.

haha, in school I thought work would be so much better. At work, I just complain, but I definately dont think school was better, especially since I'm dealing with school and grad classes now.   The only thing better about school, was college life and the lack of responsibility.

If only  could be in grad school. I hate working, but reading and discussing literature was so much fun. I miss writing papers versus being stuck in a room with no windows and people who talk crap about me to try to get me fired.

I've been thinking about going to get my PhD but I really don't want to get back in school mode. I just hate it, writing papers and pointless discussions. I'm afraid the more I stay in work mode the more I'm going to lose the drive to go back. Especially with the changes in my personal life. hmmm...

@TheFutureMcBride:  No, actually, I'm an accounting major.  One of my accounting classes was cancelled at the last minute and this was one of three classes I could take, I thought it looked "fun."

I can't decide if I really want to be back in grad school or if I'm so very glad I'm not.  I think part of it is being one of the only people in my group of friends without an advanced degree.  I went to a small colllege with one of the highest % going to grad school in the country and I can only think of one other friend who is not currently in or has not gone to grad school (and he makes a lot of money and really enjoys what he does w/o an advanced degree).

Plus, my fiance has a double major in two difficult and unrelated fields, a master's degree, and is working on a PhD.

But then I realize that as much as I love school and learning (and face it, feel insecure next to my overly intellectual friends), I have no idea what I'd study.  And I like my job.  And my fiance has a ridiculous amount of work hanging over his head at all times.

Ok joining in on the chat. Today at work I had to switch desk because I was being attacked by termites. It was so gross all of a sudden three termites flew by and hit my window then when I lifted the blinds up there were tons!! I did not have any bug spray but found some febreeze and clorox wipes to clean them up. Then one flew and hit my neck and I moved.

I feel like I need to go home and shower now.

@bohemianbailie: Ew.  I am not generally creeped out by one bug, but when it's an infestation... EW gross!  That sucks. :(

@Entangled: I know one would be ok but more then that is just wrong!!

In the office I moved to I did a major cleaning on though because it has been vacant for a couple months. I found a case full of cd's that I am going to go through now maybe something good to add to the computer!

@bohemianbailie: ewe termites that would gross me out... I get that way with ants, just looking at them makes me feel creepy crawly.

Ok ladies I'll chat you up later, I just got off work and I'm off to the gym!
