From what I’ve heard there is over 80 different types of pave so no your not an idiot. My jeweler told me that fishtail pave (top) and common prong/shared(bottom) are the most secure types of pave to still get the delicate look. Fishtail is my favorite because it’s so feminine looking

Unfathomably:  I think the last one would look amazing with your ring, especially since it has milgrain! I don’t really know which would be most secure, the first one is gorgeous too but I’d worry about the teeng shared prongs.

I have an eternity ring from Lord of Gem Rings that I’ve been wearing for about a year an a half, it’s great. I was worried about how it would hold up, but so far so good and I’m not overly careful with it, like I’ve forgotten to take it off for dishes/showering etc… I also have a vintage channel set band that I pretty much never take off, it is like 80+years old and looks brand new!

Here are my ri vs, for reference it may help you a bit because my ering is also engraved

Ps I’m sorry your having problems with your ring designer 🙁

I also really like the bottom band you posted. The milgrain would tie your set together nicely

I think you should still for an engraved band. David Klass does wonderful engraving work and might be able to closely match the existing engraving on your ER.

Unfathomably:  Thanks! It is a radiant cut. I think a spacer band would work very will with your ring, what shop did you order from? My favorite is the love knot shop, I have 4 or 5 from them and they are awesome!

Also, a couple posters have suggested David Klass as an option for making you a matching wedding band, he made my ering and I love his engraving but I agree with you wanting an engraved band to match exactly.

As far a I know David does not have a website, his email is dkinla1@aol.com
