Hey Hive!
We were married one week ago. It was a great time! We partied until about 5am with our best friends and family. The week was stressful....my grandmother passed away 4 days prior to the wedding, the florist really messed up (but fixed things by the wedding), our rings didn't make it to the alter and we had to use someone else's (though our rings were later blessed), and I wasn't thrilled with my hair due to the heat and humidity of the day. But, none of those things were enough to ruin the day. It was wonderful, fun, and beautiful.
The weird thing is what happened the moment the wedding was over----I became completely uninterested in anything about weddings. I don't care what my professional pictures look like....I don't want to see another gown, another rose, a dress, or anything peach. I am completely over weddings! I have new projects to take on, and new things to do!
So with that, I'm saying goodbye! Thanks for all the help and support. You girls rock! Love ya!

@laktolkr: Thanks! I love hair! That's why I was a bit bummer re: the humidity. The chapel is old and didnt have AC. It was so hot.

Now VM, I totally get why you need a WB break. I too, was so wedding-ed-out, that the last thing I do now when in the grocery is pick up a wedding mag!
I broke my addiction reeeally quick after the wedding to wedding planning. That's why it's one day. Geez I couldn't possibly keep planning any longer than I did!
But I love this place b/c it's growing along with me (us)! It's still so friendly, and I can build my nest here with other WB buddies too! Plus, helping out other brides is important.
You look beautiful and so do all the pictures! Good luck with all your future endeavors! You'll be missed on the bee!

Beautiful! Like you, I am no longer interested in wedding planning, but I have developed this odd fetish for wedding gowns, so I am still hanging around. Best of luck and remember the newlywed board! LOL

Aw, you'll be back. I left for about a month after our wedding for burnout, but then I started wondering how the bees and a few of the board girls (like your!) weddings were going, and it pulled me back in.
Your wedding was beautiful VM! I will miss your stories but I cant blame you for moving on to the next stage of your life. I wish you best of luck in everything you do.

I felt the exact same way after our wedding. Now that the dust has cleared, I pop in every now and then when I'm bored - mostly out of habit, probably? Maybe you willl too, but if not, that's cool too! Your pics are beautiful. Congrats!
