March2015bride2be:  That’s something you need to ask your DJ. The package we booked was for the reception, and the ceremony, but we had to pay extra for the ceremony. Without it would have just been 4 hours – which is the length of our reception.

If you have the music, give it to the DJ if you book him for ceremony? Most ceremonies are very short. I dj for weddings and I have ceremony package, cocktail hour package…if the ceremony is at the same location as the reception all you need are 2 small speakers, wireless mic and IPOD..mic for your vowels, IPOD for any type of music you might need… most DJ’s can and will make a Mashup Track of what songs you woulld like during the ceremony.. Just make sure you TIP them well if the dj doesn’t charge extra for music editing. Also you can request most dj’s to record the ceremony vowels.  Also the time difference between ceremony and reception could change the pricing..farther apart you would get charge a little more..

hope that helps.

I booked the dj service who djs at my work 6 times a year, I asked her is she would be able to provide ceremony music, and she is doing a 1 speaker setup for the ceremony as well.

You will need to ask your dj service if they can do this.
