Weddingbee Boards
I am in Canada as well, I am cleaning the house, doing laundry, and continuing to pack boxes for moving in 2 1/2 weeks ... let me tell you, I have been packing for a while now and I have a LOT of stuff!
I have been stalking my Google Reader and the Weddingbee boards all day. It has seriously been the laziest day. So now I'm still on the computer while my fiance watches our baseball team, the Rays.
I went to a Yankee's game with my dad today... they played the Blue Jays, so there was a touch of Canada in my day too. :-)
Oooh, nice, Mr. Bee. What do you think of the new stadium?
It was nice, maybe a little smaller than the old one. There were a lot of home runs, which is always exciting... so maybe there's a plus side to having a small park!
Oh nice Mr.Bee.... but shhhh US Quebecers aren't fans of Toronto sports teams (Rivalry) BUt then again, we no longer have the EXPOS so the closest Canadian team are the Jays. LOL
Haha @flamingo. The ONLY Canadian team is the Jays. :) Is there really a rivalry there? I don't know what I would do if we lost our baseball team, and unfortunately it has been mentioned more than once.
Haha, ya, Im not a baseball fan, to be honest so I don't know. But when the Montreal Expos were around, it was always a nice atmosphere to have when the 2 teams played against eachother.
But I do know in hockey ... watch out huge Rivalry against the Canadians and the Senators/Maple Leafs... But more the leafs. Theres just something about Toronto. LOL
I like Toronoto... BTW 
I worked. And then I practiced parking for my driver's exam for an hour in the hot hot hot car. Blah.
Now I am talking to my fiance on MSN and reading Weddingbee. =)
Today was a typical Sunday of grocery shopping, cleaning, and organizing. We finalized our wedding registries today too which was fun and FI had some time off work so we sat in the park and read for a few hours this afternoon. I am currently watching HGTV (obsessed).
@Erindesmar I am obsessed with HGTV too (Canada Edition) its seriously the only channel I watch apart from SYTYCD... but man, I love me some renovation/decor shows.
My fiance and I are sitting here watching the 2nd Ice Age movie on tv.
I siously can't stop watching househunters and all of the renovation shows! I have even gotten FI obsessed too : )
Haha. My family are all fans of HGTV but I've never been bit by the HGTV bug. Maybe I will once I get a house. :)
I love Property Virgins and HouseHunters, but since I found my new house (moving in September) Im all about the home renovation and decor shows....
Im starting to have some ideas... but its a scary thing. House decor planning is as stressful as a wedding - I tell you! And not to mention you have 1/3 of the time to do it. LOL
its monday 12.30pm here and im on the phone to our federal tax office..... its only been 17mins so far but remember, my call is important to them

Don't you just hate those messages. I remember being on hold with ING DIRECT and their messages are HILARIOUS. THEY MAKE FUN OF "YOU CALL IS IMPORTANT TO US"
I seriously WANT to be put on HOLD. You should check it out sometimes ;)
still on hold but my call "will be answered by a representative shortly" the mysterious lady voice keeps saying... repeatedly... like every 60 seconds... which means ive heard it alot already :)
Heh well if Quebecers don't like Toronto teams, you have nothing to worry about... the Yankees won. :-)
@eloping -- hehe that reminds me of the Friends episode where Phoebe is calling a place and is on hold for like two days.
Today was lazy, I watched 10 Things I Hate About You (forgot how much I liked that movie... sigh, Heath Ledger) and started doing some sketching for the latest wedding DIY idea. I also think I may have finalized the front of our save the date postcards.
But, you are right flamingo -- NOTHING is on TV (except Independence Day for the gazillion time this week!) we've been having the food network and HGTV on too!
Thinking I may go try to watch HIMYM (I say try because our dvd in the bedroom is crappy) or go read my library book.
PS -- Mr. Bee its nights like these a chat room would be IDEAL!
heheh - never saw that episode but i wasnt a big Friends watcher either
phone call over... only took 35mins of my life but got the answer i needed so let tax return season begini! (june 30th is end of tax season for most people down here)
off to lunch now.... tuna and salad and fruit - my life is soooo exciting
Hi guys I'm home too :) My stomach has been feeling queasy all day so I've been lounging around pretty much... all day. Waiting til 9 when the Next Food Network Star is on (I think). Haven't seen it at all yet this season but I can't think of much else to watch.
Besides lurking on wedding bee, I spent the day with my furry kids and caught up on about two years worth of scrap booking in about five hours, eesh!
dont mention queasy stomach around my co-workers! anyone else get the "are you pregnant" demand if you hint at so much as a headache since you got engaged??
I am unfortunately at work. Yay for overtime, though. If I was at home I would so be watching HGTV or Food Network. I love Food Network Challenge.
@GaBGal- I love that movie! ABCFamily is turning the movie into a series, and that makes me sad, because no one can replace Heath!
@plumeria I JUST started watching the Next Food Network Star yesterday, there was a marathon of the first few episodes. FI and I were both like "why have we not been watching this?" lol
@katybug I KNOW! I saw that about the series and was totally bummed and annoyed. TV series spin offs of movies have never worked. Hello, anyone remember "Clueless"? Such a bad move by ABC Family! I also laugh because the movie was an adaptation of "taming of the Shrew" so its like a ripoff of another one. The one thing I'll say is the girl who is playing Chastity (Gabrielle Union's character in the movie) is a DEAD ON doppleganger.. seriously a great match! I think the girl who is playing Kat looks like a terrible match.
Oh good! :) Fifteen more minutes.... :D I just switched it on prematurely and it's a wedding cake challenge right now. I spy a croquembouche. Mm, cream puffs.
Yeah... we live in CA and have HD channels so we actually got to watch it at 6 (its on at 9 again) but I won't reveal anything except that its a cute challenge!
GabGal, didn't you just move to CA if I recall right from the CA boards? Walnut Creek right? I'm in Livermore. :)
Yup that's me! Unfortunately I didn't get to the Bee meet up last week... super bummed about that!
Livermore... I just had some Live for More Fudge from Livermore a few weeks ago... so good! I love local delicacies!
I'm sure there will be another opportunity! :) I missed the last one too. I am an old 'Bee (in terms of how long I've been on WB... not in age) so I have to admit I don't "know" the readers very well. But I still hope to meet some when there's another meetup!
Eloping - we did get the pregnant question when we first got married but not so much anymore. I guess people around here will be surprised when we finally announce when we are. :)
