Have you taken a pregnancy test? I had cramping during early pregnancy. It’s a common 1st trimester symptom.

it might just be your body adjusting to being off birth control.

mnp:  As a PP said, have you taken a pregnancy test? If they are negative, had your cycles been regular? Could very well be your body adjusting now that’s its off BC. I have PCOS, not meaning to scare you, & cramp up during the whole month, every month. Nothing serious, never requires Aleve/Advil, but I know it’s occurring. I would take a test and call your doctor! They’ll get the answer for you 🙂

No, cramping throughout the month is not normal. This can be a sign of PCOS, endometriosis, cysts, etc. It’s something I would talk to my doctor about.

mnp: Mainly commenting to follow as this is something I experience. I went to my GP about it and she told me it was probably bowel-related rather than anything to do with my reproductive bits. But then, over here, doctors seem to diagnose most things along these lines as IBS and just fob you off with a prescription. A year on, I still think it’s something else, and I worry that whatever it is may be affecting our ability to conceive since we have been trying 11 cycles and every test has come back clear. Don’t let that scare you though! Chances are you’ll be fine 🙂 But – let me know if you get anywhere with this!
