What would you give someone as a gift who…
… doesn’t eat sweets, doesn’t drink any liquor, doesn’t drink any tea or coffee, doesn’t like music, doesn’t watch television, doesn’t watch movies, has too many candles, cookbooks, photo albums, picture frames, and jewelry already, doesn’t do any fitness activities, doesn’t wear makeup, doesn’t wear perfumes, doesn’t like sports, doesn’t entertain guests, doesn’t like animals, doesn’t cook, doesn’t travel, doesn’t shop at name brand clothing stores, doesn’t have any creative hobbies that I know of and has unspecified ailments that keep them from eating many mystery ingredients (so no food gifts, because there’s no teling) ?
WHAT’S LEFT?! Am I being uncreative or is this one tough?

gift certificate for the spa?

a visa or amazon gift card.
what does this person do?

Wow, that’s tough!
The first thing that came to mind would be a gift certificate to their favorite grocery store. Or if you know of another store they like to shop at, then a gift card to that store.

a blanket? everyone likes to cuddle right?
maid service or personal chef service for a month?
pretty stationary to write you letters about all the things they hate?

@kitzy: Not much… but as you can see, I’ve been informed of quite a few things over the years that they do NOT like.

A card..JK.. At that point I would pick up a gift card.

A set of wool dryer balls (search Etsy), smartwool socks, a coffee table book (humorous for a young person, pretty sunrises or some nonsense if it’s like your grandma), and a pony. That’s what I would recommend. 🙂

A Mastercard or Visa gift card. Tickets to a play?? You didn’t say they don’t like that?
A non-cookbook book? Or as PP have suggested, a gift card for a bookstore.
(and JoJo Bananas: the stationery idea is brilliant.)

Wow you guys are so great!
A general use VISA or Mastercard giftcard is one of the few options I can think of.
@Bostonsmom:It’s REALLY ridiculous/sad to say, but I can’t say this person would enjoy a spa or even anything comfortable like slippers or a bathrobe – they’re on the conservative side so disrobing for a masseuse or trusting a beautician for a facial wouldn’t happen… AND.. the only thing they wear is heels. But maybe I could convert them..
@JoJo Bananas: I love your last suggestion!
@ddw: Pony, totally!
@MademoiselleL: I’m NOT making this up to be contrary, I’m really not, but : they don’t go out socially and that includes movies or plays. There isn’t even a playhouse there, come to think of it… but if I bought them tickets I could easily imagine them going to waste :/

Who doesn’t like music?!! I would just get a card, honestly.
@Gingersnap: I know – that one worries me, like on a psychological level. But no, absolutely NO music interests. That’s usually an easy one!
