It looks like from your profile pic that you can totally pull off black hair 🙂  Good luck!!

You’ll look fab. Change your makeup though especially your foundation.

It usually does require a change of makeup – maybe get a makeup consultation at a department store or with a makeup artist if you think your regular look isn’t working with your hair? I had dyed black hair from ages 13 to around 20 and it’s a dark brown now. It can look awesome especially with the deep red lips!

I’ve found that there is a world of difference between very dark brown and black. I’d skip the black if you’re over 25. I’m 35 and black would make me look super old.

I would suggest a light spray tan like you said. Also because it’d give you a beautiful wedding day glow! Good luck with the black hair! I’m sure with the right makeup you will look fetching!!

Can you mix 3N with a bit of warmth for a nice dark warm brown?:) that’s what I am and its dark!! I actually wanna lighten it a bit. Lots of washing it lately to help it fade. I feel like its too dark and aging me a bit.

Oops it’s sideways. Sorry!!

Don’t mind the sweet scar in the middle of my forehead!

As someone with naturally black hair you might want to consider a few natural dark brown highlights if you’re doing anything special with your hair (which don’t necessarily have to be in your extensions.) Otherwise your hair will just look like a giant black blob on your head in photos.

@chouette:  yes some “highlights” to break it up:)) that’s what I do!
