Okay, so I’m totally embarrassed to admit this but I am SUPER excited for the release in 3D.
The part where he whispers when she’s on the bow, gave me goosebumps! And the last two lines of the trailer? I burst out crying in my office – good thing I’m alone today.
I was obssessed with this movie when it came out in 1997. Swoon, Jack… I’ll never let go! You know, that still pisses me off ’til this very day about how he died. I would’ve sucker-punched a couple of old people just so he didn’t have to stay in the water while she was on the door. But that just goes to show his love, lol. Oh, it’s so pathetic I’m a 27 year old woman.

lol! I’m not a huge fan of 3D but I did love this movie even though it was sooooo long.
The ending annoyed me too. I thought it was stupid that they couldnt take turns on that piece of wood or find something else for him lie on. I also thought she was kinda obtuse to not realize that he would freeze to death in the water. Still a great move though!

@mwitter80: What? Really? I haven’t seen some of the famous ones, either. I never saw the Godfather movies until two years ago, myself.
I couldn’t care less about 3D but glad it’ll be in theaters again. I lost my VHS tape over the years, haha.

@dynamic_duo: Haha. I had it written down (I was 14, people) when I was younger — watched it 27 times after I got it for my birthday.

Yes, I’m not the only one!! I am geekily excited for this. I was totally into Titanic when I was little – not the movie as much as the history. I could spout off endless facts about the captain, and its shipbuilding process, and the passengers, etc. I actually was not at all impressed with the movie when I first saw it, becuase at the time I thought the love story was WAY dramatic and just wanted them to include more of the historical stuff. Oh, silly me! Good thing I have now seen the error of my ways.

@September29: Oh man, I had one of those replica necklaces too!!! I thought it was super cool at the time, the only part of the movie I liked. The chain eventually broke off and was lost, but I found the heart a few months ago and jokingly gave it to Mr. PB. He now has it on his nightstand 🙂

@bells @Coffee cup: If she would just MAKE ROOM on that damn door, they would both be fine and could live a wonderfulu happy life together!! He kept trying to get on the side she was already on, he needed to go to the other side so it would be balanced. Except she NEVER MADE ROOM. You FOOL.
