my advise is dont rush into anything (ie ask 6 friends to be bridesmaids) and enjoy!

yes, it's completely normal to be hit with all sorts of questions right off the bat. Just say you're planning to spend some time enjoying being newly engaged!

And yes, it's normal... But I don't get it. People asked me when we were getting married less than an HOUR after he popped the question (which was a complete surprise!)... Like I was supposed to plan a wedding in that first hour. lol

We had a family party the day after he proposed, we were bombarded with questions!!! One person already asked me where we are going to live after the wedding! So yes, normal, annoying, but they all mean well. Happy planning!
Beautiful and congrats! Yup, seeing the engagement ring is almost always followed by wedding questions. Some people know the date before the engagement. Yeah, I didn't know the date until about 6 month after the proposal.

i am a july 2012 bride as well and already had everyone asking me about our wedding details the day i announced it. it is crazy. but enjoy the ride. sorry for the bad punctuation and whatnot. my phone will not let me use commas or uppercase for some reason lol.

Just got engaged yesterday and I'm so excited! People are already asking me about the wedding though... is that normal? Can't I just enjoy my engagement for a few days?
