We got engaged earlier in the week and reality is already setting in with uni and work and life so I thought I would post a picture of my ring. Feel free to share advice on how to stay excited and not bogged down with life and of course your rings too! (doesnt help FI has gone back to 4 weeks work away).
LOVE my 1.5ct (7.5mm) Forever Brilliant Mossy even though I can see colour in it. FI is colour sensative too so he was not sure but he can shhhh ha ha.
These are crappy cell phone pics till I get some proper ones 🙂

It’s beautiful! Your Fiance picked a super nice ring! I’m probably not the best to ask about how to stay excited and not let life get me down. I find the one thing that helps is trying to focus on the reason why we are getting married and all the little things my Fiance does that are SUPER sweet.
Here’s one of my ring 🙂

Thank you 🙂 Hope I still like it in 50 years and it doesnt shrink in size 🙂
@sbruin99: hehehe I picked the ring but he did an amazing job on proposing! That image is beautiful as is your ring!!
Just have to keep my head up and power on, FI was being lovley and supportive tonight when I got upset from some personal things that are happening which is good.

@Shonzilla: It rocks when we have awesome fiances. 🙂 we have been facing a bunch of problems lately (not with our relationship, just everything around us, I swear we are bad luck magnets sometimes) but he really has been amazing. If anything all the issues have made us closer and that is what keeps me going is remembering HE and our love is the reason we are getting married. He just seems to know the right things to say or do.
