Weddingbee boards

Wow - I still can't really believe it!  I will try to get pics up as soon as possible!  It was about an hour ago that he did it!

We went out to celebrate my last day of a field experience.  He took me to a our favorite nice restaurant where a choir came into to the party room next to our table and started singing Christmas carols!  (Adorable.)  Then he took me on a surprise "drive."  We went to The Festival of Lights at a hotel/marina where you drive around and see lights, etc.  He pulled over at the marina area where we could see the water.  He was telling me about this boat that was sitting in the water, (he's a marine mechanic, loves the water.)  When he was done, I realized we were still parked... and then he reached for something, said, "this isn't exactly how I wanted to do it, but..."  Then I lost it, started crying before he said anything!  He asked me to marry him, and I kissed him, he asked if that was a yes!  I said YES!!  

He had the ring sitting out between us, I didn't even look at it, but it's beautiful!  I can't believe he snuck out and got it without me knowing!  He tried to put it on my hand, (forgot which hand it went on,) was nervous and fumbeling with it!  It was amazing :)  He got his "nautical" backdrop, and I got my ring!

Will post pics as soon as I can!  Need to spend some time with the fiance though :)

Wow, congratulations!!! Guess it really was close after all! What a sweet proposal, and I can't wait to see the ring! :)
