our story: Febuary 10, 2011

Hi Bees,

it all started as any normal thursday would (my fiance & i have thursdays off as one of your days off.) i did my usual routine that i normally would do in the morning.. which takes me forever to get ready just to go anywhere.. yes i am guilty of that. lol anyway he kept mentioning to me the day before and that morning that we had our valentines dinner reservations at 4 and we had to be there at 4 & that we couldnt be  late.. & in my head i was thinking.. man thats early.. and why all of a sudden did we have to be at this place right at 4pm on the dot.. i thought that was kind of strange but i didnt think much of it and carried on getting ready. we were going to celebrate our valentines a couple days early since we figured on valentines day it was going to be crowded and we wanted to avoid all that.. so we ran our normal errands like any other thursday got some groceries.. and came home around 130ish.. the whole time we were out i felt like my bf wasnt himself.. like he was overly thinking about something.. and that something i soon yet to figure out. so anyway, it was about that time to get ready and head out to our "valentines date" (that we had to be ON TIME FOR)... as i was curling my hair and thinking about what outfit to wear ( at this point he was all dressed and ready to go) he told me he had to go to the front house to fix something on his tia's computer and he told me to finish up and be in the front at 330 so we can leave. (need i mention we live in a back house and we have his tia living in our front house)

so i'm finally ready and as i head to the front house i open the door and i see a beautiful bouquet of roses on her kitchen table.. & my first thought was.. ohh tia has a valentine.. lol i look over at my hunny and ask him.. "who gave tia flowers?"  and he said he didnt know and for me to look.. and of course me being so nosey i flip the card over and see that the beautiful flowers wasnt for tia it was for ME! from my sweet bf.. it was so beautiful.. it had a red vase with rhinestones on the top of the vase and beautiful red roses! i was happy. :)

after hugging and kissing my bf to peices .. i started having second thoughts about my shoes..  i was trying to go back to our house to change my shoes and at this point my bf was like no keep those you arent changing again..  and as i was about to go.. i heard a hard knock on the front door.. this whole time my bf is still on the computer.. it starled me .. so i took a peak out of the kitchen window and i seen a white limo.. and im like "baby theres a limo parked in front of the house.." not knowing that the limo was for me..  the knock kept persisting and so i ended up opening the door.. 

there was a well suited man holding a box of chocolates and a card in his hand.. he said " hello there i am looking for Lori " nervously i said "i'm lori" he then said " on behalf of your boyfriend i have these for you and he handed me the box of chocolates and my card and said your boyfriend thinks you are an amazing girl and has a few little surprises for you today i will be taking you around in this as he pointed to the limo and said i will be your driver for today..  i was so surprised and couldnt stop smiling.. now i realized why i had to be ready right at 4.. cause our driver was picking us up! it all made sense now..  my bf came to the door and i couldnt believe he surprised me with all that.. for our valentines date so i thought...

we got in the limo and i had no idea where he was taking us..  the limo was beautiful it was a white classic kind.. inside was fully stocked with snacks.. alcohol.. water and it had a flickering lighted celing.. beautiful! the whole time in there i was all smiles and couldnt believe he surprised me yet again..  the driver pulled over in the middle of driving and - popped the trunk and brought me some wine.. which i love and poured us a glass and snapped some photos of us.. i felt like a princess. it was awesome.

to make a long story short cause i know this is gettin long now.. our driver took us to the beach where he took several more pictures of us then took us to an amazing dinner at this fancy fish house..  & the night wasnt over yet.. to end the night our driver took us to the Queen Mary..it was beautiful he showed us a around alittle and then our driver let us venture around without him and told us he would be wating for us by the limo and no rush.. and at that time.. thats when he asked me!! it couldnt be anymore perfect and i was estatic! and i will never forget that day. i wasnt so lucky to have pictures of him asking me but i do have after shots that our driver took of us. it was perfect i had no idea that i left on this date to come home with a fiance.. in my head i thought it was just the most perfect valentines day ive ever had.. but in reality it was one of the most perfect days of my life.
