YEP! I'm engaged!! And I totally wouldn't blame you if you scroll past this and check out the ring porn, but here's our story...

We went to the Darius Rucker concert (whoo whoo!) tonight and that was a blast. It was such a good show and I'd been looking forward to it for months. When the concert was over, we walked damn near half a mile back to the truck. He told me before we left the house that he wanted to go to the beach after the concert, so I kinda figured something was up. We stopped to get some hot chocolate and coffee on the way there since it was freezing outside. We got to the beach, and got out and walked for about 15-20 minutes. Then he stopped, turned to me and told me that he loves me and wants to be with my for the rest of his life and how he wants to make sure I have everything I ever want. Annnnd then he pulls a little pink box out of his pocket, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I was in tears and said YES! It was dark and the only light was the moon, and some lights on a hotel nearby, so I couldn't see the ring very well, but it was still sparkling like crazy! I just stared at the ring in the box for a while and finally said "Can I have it?" Haha. Then we just hugged for about two minutes and I completely forgot that I was cold! The ring is sooo beautiful and it still totally feels unreal, but it is! And he told me he had the ring box in his pocket the WHOLE night, and I never even noticed! I'm so happy and I couldn't wait to share with you guys!

Okay! So, who's ready for copious amounts of moissanite ring porn??!

It's a 1 carat unenhanced moissanite center stone. I'm not sure the carat weight of the side stones. Though it may look like it in some of the pictures, I don't see any yellow in it AT ALL. It's suuuper sparkly too. I love it! Oh, and my ring size is 9 :)

I think I'll really enjoy it when FI (I can't believe I can say that now!!) wakes up and we can spend the day together. I really wanna go out to lunch or something and show my ring around town. Haha!

I'm so glad the concert came out with a proposal for you, especially so soon after your ring was shipped (Your very lucky not to wait that long after he got the ring! What's your secret?! lol)
