Weddingbee boards

WOW! So this past weekend I had a New Teacher Conference in Vancouver and my Bf  came with me since this would be our first time actually getting to see Vancouver! He knew that I will be very busy between attending the conference and wanting to see as much of Vancouver as possible in 4 days, so he knew that he would catch me off guard!

Friday after the conference we met up with a friend of ours and walked around downtown Vancouver. I was having so much fun that I bearly noticed that he was wearing his small backpack all day, I think it may have entered my mind once and I thought "why is he wear that thing!", but it didn't last long. We gallavanted around all afternoon and he was sorta quite and when I asked him what was wrong he said that his stomach was bothering him so I didn't think anything of it because that happens to him often. We got back to the hotel around 10:00pm. I hopped into the shower. I came out of the bathroom in my pj's and my hair was soaken. He stood up and walked over to me and said "You know I love you right?" I, with a confused look on my face said "Yesssss". He then said "I love you more than I ever thought was possible." At this point he started to fill up and get emotional and I knew it then! I starte saying "OH MY GOD, oh my god, oh my god!" He interrupted me and said "Wait now! I gotta do it right!" He then got down on one knee and said "Will you marry me." To which I replied immediatley "You frigger! YES! Yes I will!!" The "you frigger" remark was out of pure shock, because he had completely blind sided me, I was expecting it eventually since we have already set a date and booked the church and hall, but he got me good! Any one who knows me knows that its totally me to say something like that when I'm in shock. So after I said yes he stood up, kissed me and slid the ring on my finger... it fit perfectly. It is absoutely amazing. Here is a picture!

The way he asked me was totally him too. So of you maybe thinking, why didn't he do it while we were out and about in the city. Well he is the type of person who really does not like to draw attention to himself and we are from a much smaller city so he was finding it crowded and he said it just didn't feel right to do it with all those people around. But still he carried to around all afternoon hoping to "feel" the right moment. But he didn't and he said it was also partly because he was sooooooooooo nervous. So for him to ask me in the privicy of our hotel room was totally him and I wouldn't have wanted him to do it anyother way, plus I was smart and had stashed away some sexy lingerie in my luggage which I wisked out after the proposal ;) *wink*

I am so happy! What an amazing weekend!! I can't stop smiling!!
