I am planning my wedding by myself. Not by choice but only because I don’t have anyone else to help me. I’m not here for a pity party but for advise. I’m feeling overwhelmed by things that I’m not sure how to do or where to get. My wedding colors are blush and cream. I’ve got the church, reception hall, photographer, baker, pastor, my dress, and the caterer. I’m probably forgetting something else but oh well. The things I’m having problems with are the more creative side of things. I am not creative or artistic at all lol So its decorating and making things pretty that I stress about. The caterer can supply the white tablecloth but I want something more than that, pink with lace accent linens or something. Where do I find things like that? Everyone says oh go here or there but it’s like 50 bucks for a yard and I can’t afford that! I need invitations and theres no way I can make them but I have no clue on where to buy them so they look pretty. I need a florist and I’m just nervous how expensive it’s gonna be…at this point I’m just venting so I’m sorry if you’ve read this far and think I’ve lost my mind because I probably have lol My dress fitting is the 19th and I need shoes and bra and all the under garments and I’m a 38 G. Yeah good luck finding a strapless bra for that size. And I want heels but not sure if I’ll fall on my face. And on top of that I’m angry with myself for not losing any weight and I want to feel beautiful that day but I’m afraid I’ll just feel fat. I’m just frustrated tonight so if you’re still reading thank you.

Wedding Paper Divas is an awesome site – highly recommend that you check them out for help with your paper worries. They also have sales frequently.
As far as everything else goes, take a deep breath, it sounds like you’re moving right along!

I am planning my wedding on my own also..as I live far away from friends and family and I am not creative or artsy at all, thats why I hired a decorator to make all those little things look good. I dont have a very high budget at all but we worked out a very good deal and now I dont have to stress about all the decor.
As for invitations I went online to Invitations by Dawn and couldnt have been happier! The quality and cost were incredible, such an easy process.
It sounds like you have done quite a bit so I wouldnt worry too much, and I see your wedding is in August so you re still good for time to get things more figured out. Just relax and step away from it all for a while. Also theknot.com has a terrific checklist to keep you in check.

I’m doing everything on my own too so I feel your stress! Something that really helped me for creative decor ideas or cheap DIY ideas was looking at the Pinterest site. So many good ideas and money saving ideas as well. I also looked online at second hand items…classified lists like on this site or Kijiji or Craig’s List etc…saves lots of money for decor items or table linens.Vista Print is a super cheap website to get invites done on as well. Another idea is on Etsy or Ebay they have wedding invite templates for like $20. It’s a downloadable file. Super easy. I paid $20 for a template to make my invites, menus, programs, favour cards, wine labels and more off of the one price! Then I just printed them off myself.
I’m sure your wedding will be beautiful! 🙂

Try whole foods for the florist if you have one nearby. They do weddings, and even do delivery and setup!
