Weddingbee boards

My bf (now FI) proposed to me on Saturday!  He proposed to me on our favourite look out on a mountain top overlooking the town of Banff.  After he got down on one knee, did his sweet proposal and placed the ring on my finger and then told me we had to go check in to the Fairmont for the night.  I taken by complete surprise.  All along he had an overnight bag in the trunk for us.  He took me to Banff under the pretense that were just going to take some landscape photos as we bought a new camera and wanted to try it out.  I became so overwhelmed with the unexpected proposal after waiting for over 5 months that I made ask me again!  I just loved hearing it from him.

Anyways, we eventually made it to the Fairmont Lake Louise, where he had us booked into the lakeview room.  Once we were in the room I kept looking at the ring.  I never thought it would be so shiny!  We're not bit champagne drinkers so instead we toasted with a glass of red wine.  Then I immediately called my mom which now that I think about it I should've waited but I was just too excited.  After what seemed to be a bit of a long phone call we went for dinner where they sat us by the window with an amazing view of the mountains.  After dinner we went for a walk then headed back to the room.. :-)  I'm sad that the day went by so fast, something tells me the wedding day will be the same. 

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that made him say it again!!! lol
