Im FREAKING out. My dress NEVER got ordered by the store.

@MUAbride2be:  Yikes, I would be so upset.  Hopefully they can get your dress ordered QUICKLY and it will all work out.  I only really needed a week or so for final alterations, so if it only needs to be taken in a bit, hopefully they can knock it out very quickly for you.

@MUAbride2be:  Even if you’re not having AA do your alterations…. they’ll be paying for them because of their screw up.  Don’t worry!

AA might not charge you for the rushed alterations seeming as it was their stuff up. 

Fingers crossed that they can find a dress somewhere and rush it to you, perhaps another bride did what you did and has an 18 to exchange.

Alfred Angelo has the best rush in the business.  Even if you get it a week before the wedding it CAN BE DONE.  I was manager of a private salon for YEARS and have worked in the industry forever….they will get this right. I guarantee it.  This was always my biggest nightmare.  Just breathe…it really is going to be ok.

Even if they don’t do your alterations see if you can get them to pay for any rush fees you get since it’s their fault you have to rush in the first place.  I’m so sorry this is happening to you.  Good luck!!

I hate when people tell me to “breathe” when something this stressful happens. Sounds patronizing.

 

Anyway… I’d be pissed and freaking out too! Be a (polite but firm) squeaky wheel!! You’ll get your dress!

@MUAbride2be:  Ugg that’s horrible! *HUGS*!! Honestly I would MAKE Alfred Angelo do the alterations Rushed and COMPLETELY FREE put your foot down they screwed up don’t pay for their screw up! 

Is the original dress just completely too big to alter as a worst case scenario?

PS 70lbs down!! Congrats thats amazing!!

Hugs!! What a terrible mess up Frown It sounds like the rush order will work out though, and hopefully they offer you some sort of credit for their huge snafu!

The place I ordered from is waiting to place my order at the factory since I bought my dress so early, I keep calling them every few months to make sure they haven’t forgotten about me… your situation is totally my worst (bridal) nightmare.
