@sunshine_kar:  Honey stop beating yourself up for feeling something that, from what you said, is a completely rational emotion. You’re going to be fine financially, so there isn’t much financial anxiety, and the job was “sucking the life out of you.” As far as I’m concerned, you got yourself a win-win there! Revel in the relief and enjoy the freedom you now have to joyfully prepare for and anticipate your baby 🙂

@sunshine_kar:  When God closes a door He opens a window.  I believe something better than you can yet imagine is in store for you.  One day you will look back and see that while getting laid off was hard, it evolved into a blessing.  I have been there and God knew best. Getting laid off helped push me out of my comfort zone and motivated me to work hard towards my real dreams.  It gave me the chance to pray like never before, take risks, build faith, and just go for what I wanted in my career and personal life.  My life now is literally better than my idealized, imaginary dream life ever was.  The best blessings can come from unexpected things like a lay off, so keep the faith and hang in there!
