Cool! I'm not doing this personally (but I totally would if it was necessary)... and i have a friend who did! Congratulations!!!
FI and I are talking about this right now, I've been experiencing a lot of health issues the past 3 months and my insurance coverage ends this month. He thinks I'll regret it and that I should look into temporary insurance until our wedding. I'm not really sure, I don't think i'll be able to convince him...we'll see. Congrats tho! I know a few people that have considered this option!

I just found out that I need about $3k worth of dental work done and I don't have insurance. My FI and I discussed and we've decided to go to the courthouse this Friday to get married so I can go on his dental plan. So, technically we'll be married exactly 3 months before our actual wedding ceremony with family. We're not planning on telling our families prior to, but maybe we will after the fact.
Anyone else out there get married early for insurance purposes?
