It's a bit like opening Christmas presents early.  It feels a bit naughty!

As you may or may not know SO is moving for work, a week before Valentine's day. *sad face*.

He said he had a gift for me and wondered if I wanted it tonight or tomorrow.  I said I didn't mind, but that maybe I should wait until the actual day.  He said I could if I wanted but it's pretty obvious what it is...

So here I am with an unrealistic "maybe it's a ring box" thought flashing through my head.

...because of the bag it's in.  Okay so it's not a ring.  Oh well, I knew it was only wishful thinking.  Anyway, I said maaaaybe if he was super clever he should put it in a different bag so I didn't guess what it was! (Duh).  But he said it wasn't really like that.  I wonder if the shop gift wrapped it for him or something?

Anyways, I'm feeling okay about the waiting and the fact we will be going LDR in just over a week.  Hoping this contented feeling lasts for a while.

Hey bees!  Sorry I've not been around to update you.  He bought me a Links of London acorn charm on a chain to wear as a necklace, it opens up to reveal a tiny heart.  It's beautiful!

I'd add a link, but I don't want to know how much it cost. So I wont.  But it's a Valentine's limited edition one if you want to look it up.

He said "It's for good luck and love... apparently" *rolls eyes* bless 'im!
