At least you know it's coming soon! I know my time is coming, but not til February and it's making me absolutely freaking insane!
lol i am the same way and the bridal shower yesterday didn't help it lol!!! i asked M when it'd be and he said well i'll give you a date that it's not going to be to shut you up for a minute because i'm definitely not telling you when it will be. and he says may 27th. i told my mom and she laughed and laughed and laughed... and then she said well i thnk he'll do it at christmas when ya'll come home (which means he hasn't talked to her about anything because if he was doing it then, she wouldn't tell me)... i am still shooting for next christmas though and if it happens before then, woohoo!!
Ugh I am going crazy too! I spent the weekend with my best friend who is planning her wedding for Oct 2010. It also doesnt help when my BF asks about how her wedding planning is going lol. Its so hard not to bring it up, but I have been very good lately lol
I have a feeling its not going to happen by christmas because we are both pretty broke :/
I was also hanging on the possibility of it happening on our 3 year anniversary (next saturdaym the 14th) but I am definitely not getting my hopes up

It will only be a matter of time! I know it's hard to wait and be patient, but at least you know that not only is it coming, but SOON!

@HoneyBear you couldn't be more right. I can't tell if it's making me more impatient knowing it's coming in a few weeks or when I didn't know at all. I just have to remind myself that it's not him, it's just waiting on the ring to get here and then to have the stone set. But I will say, I just found out that one of our friends got engaged on Saturday and this s the first engagement I've heard about in like 7 months that I wasn't a little envious of - it was great!!! I guess I know mine is coming so there's no reason for it anymore. It was a good feeling.
i'm in the same boat as everyone else! i'm driving myself nuts because i know he has the ring and i know it's coming soon, but i have no idea when. he's had the ring for 2 months now and nothing! my good friend got engaged last month and that's been driving me nuts, knowing that her boyfriend didn't even have the ring, but still proposed! i have no clue what the heck my boyfriend is waiting for??

I know it's coming soon, but I'm still driving myself (and Manfriend) nuts about exactly when where and how. And I know he's terrible at surprises and I want this to be exactly like he wants, so I really need to zip it and be patient. He ordered my setting on Friday but it won't be here for at least a week and a half because they have to put a larger head on it. And then after that we still have to find the perfect diamond and have it set. So we're talking maybe early December? So it's soon, but not soon enough!!!! I'm trying not to say too much about it, but I'm so antsy!!! lol. Ok, mini vent over.
