Hmm… I would have loved a gift certificate for a prenatal massage or for a mani/pedi. She might also like preggie pops (for nausea), a belly band (for too tight pants), a maternity shirt (for later), belly cream, and a nice card. I think just the recognition that she’s a mom-to-be would be greatly apprecaited 🙂

Maybe a gift card to a maternity store? Or even a gift certificate to a pedi – your feet are up in stirups a lot!

I agree with the PP’s a prenatal massage or pedicure would be amazing! I am only going to be 16 weeks and it’s getting hard to bend over to do my toes so I will be getting a lot of pedicures this summer.
Being pregnant I know I am very hesitant to spend money on my self. I justify maternity clothes because I’m not going to wear them that long and pampering things seem like a luxury item that I could use the money to save or buy stuff for the baby. So anything that your sister may be hesitant to get herself would be perfect.
Also, I’ve read a bunch of different pregnancy books and my absolutel favorite is Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy. This book tell it like it is an doesn’t sugarcoat anything and I find it hilarious.

I like the idea of a little something to pamper herself, like a pedicure GC. I would be hesitant to do too much though, if it is still really early (you didn’t say how far along she is). So I like the idea of something usable like the gift card, vs a maternity shirt, if she is still in her first trimester. It is nice of you to recognize her first (almost0 mother’s day!
FYI, I can be really superstitious and nervous about things like that! When my sister first told me she was pregnant, I would get nervous if I didn’t her from her two days in a row for no reason. I don’t have kids of my own yet.
