:( I'm so sorry! Can you get a stunt ring until you get yours back? Go to Macy's or Walmart and get one that looks kinda/sorta similar? My mom has one that she wears on vacation or when she's in downtown Atlanta and you can't tell a difference!

Thanks. It should be even more sparkly with the missing diamond, I don't think I ever notice by the salesperson did.
I know--but I do feel pretty naked without it. I keep thinking I'm missing something every time I walk out the door to the house..than I have to remind myself that it's at the jewelrers and not to freak out!
Aww.. I feel for you!! I took my ring in last Friday to get sized... FI got it downtown near where I work, so I just ran it over in the morning and had it back on my finger by the end of the day. All day long though, I kept giving myself mini panic attacks wondering where my ring went!! Hopefully these three weeks will go by quickly for you, and your ring will be extra beautiful when you get it back :)
I'm sorry. That happened to me too. Twice, within six months, in fact. I was so irrate.
On a lighter note. When I saw your post, I didn't realize it was in "Rings". So I thought the story was going to be something like being on your honeymoon for three weeks, someplace tropical.
So sorry! I would agree with getting a knock off to hold you over... or..... I think its reason to have your hunny get you something special to wear in the mean time!

Sorry for your naked finger - i'm with everyone else, since this will be a regualr thing (thought hopefully not for this long) get an inexpensive stunt double ring!
aww man!! I can't imagine not having it for 3 weeks :((( It will go by quickly!
echoing other bees...miss lab got a second 'stand in' ring for this reason!
Oh man, mine had to get resized and that was the hardest week. I found a little fabric friendship ring in my jewelry box and wore that as a stand-in just for feeling purposes. It's weird, I know. I highly recommend the stunt ring though, worked for me!

My fi bought my ring plus the warranty which requires me to bring my ring into Zales every six months to have inspected and cleaned.
So, today I brought into Zales and the salesperson told me I was missing a diamond that frames the center heart diamond and he would have to send it off and get it replace...
*cries* And, it's going to take THREE WEEKS!!!!
It's horrible--I keep feeling where my ring is..than thinking OMG it's not there, I LOST and my heart starts beating fast and I start freaking out untill I remember that Zales has it. And, ugh--kind of a little afraid that it might not make it back to me :(.
I even have a tanline where my ring is because I NEVER take it off except in the shower.
Not exactly how I pictured my week starting...:(
