We are leaving 2 days after the wedding. 15 days to Paris, Venice, Florence. I'm excited because I've never been to Italy before and can't wait for the shopping trip.
@ Cutexkitty, How exciteing! I wanted to go to Paris but FI wanted soemthing tropical so Maui won. But I can't complain Maui will be so nice and relaxing... I can't wait! your gonna have fun shopping!!!
Our trip will be for 8 days- 5 in Prague and 3 in Vienna! Can't wait. :)

We are heading to the US, both the east and west coast for 6 weeks. We'll leave a few days after the wedding!!

We won't be honeymooning until a few months after. [sad face]. We originally were going to spend a week in Malta but I think we're going to do 5 days in malta and 5 days in southeastern Spain! woo hoo!
We are having a DW in the Mayan Riviera so our honeymoon is built in. We actually only have 3 full days post-wedding. We would have stayed longer but the place we are going is pretty expensive and I didn't want to rack up any debt from our wedding so we nixed an extra week.
But I leave for Thailand to see hubby for 3 weeks at the beginning of Oct. We are calling it our 'pre-moon' since its pretty close to our wedding :p
I don't know where I'm going and it's killing me! My FI is surprising me...only 30 days until I find out! (I hope it's somwhere as awesome as where you are all going!)
We are going to a Sandals resort, but we haven't picked which one yet! Leaning towards Emarald Bay in the Bahamas...

Our honeymoon is 6 days in Waikiki... Right after we get married in Vegas
We are leaving the monday after the wedding for 2 days on Oahu and 6 on Maui!!! can't wait! (seriously that is the light at the end of the tunnel)
If all goes as planned, about five months after we get married we'll fly to Paris and stay for two weeks. We decided to wait five months after the wedding because our wedding is in November and we wanted to be in France during spring. :-)

(ok, but for real, there is a hotel there with private POOLS in the rooms! and we are hopefully going to Hawaii a few months later for a more "real" honeymoon.)
Going to St. Maarten, 7 days. Staying at a great resort that great friend gifted to us ( gave us his week he pays maintenance on all year). Cannot wait for those beaches!!!!

We will be spending the week before the wedding in Maui and then going to Kauai for the week after, technically our honeymoon!
We are doing 14 days in Greece :) Also planning to do a mini trip to Turkey while we are there!
Ooo, I've been to Maui 3 times, seriously an amazing place!!! Some of my favorite things to do are to go snorkeling at the Molokini Crater and BE SURE to go on a snorkeling trip that takes you to swim with sea turtles, it's the most amazing thing being right next to a wild sea turtle when he surfaces to breath and just looks at you!!! If you're there during whale season go on a whale watching trip too, you usually see dolphins as well. Lahaina has a lovely downtown area with plenty of shopping, the biggest banion tree, and great restaurants like Bubba Gumps and the Hard Rock Cafe. Bubba's is right next to the best sunset viewing!!! And be sure to go to a luau. In May we went to the Royal Lahaina Luau in Lahaina and it was great! If you like driving you could drive down the road to Hana. It curves around the island and has a few hiking trails to waterfalls and such. It's a long drive though if you go all the way to Hana with LOTS of hairpin turns and one way bridges. I would not recommend it if you get car-sick. Driving North through Lahaina and Kaanapali around the Northwest part of the island is lovely too with red cliffs, great views, and jungle. Wailea is a great shopping area too in southwest Maui! Hope this helps!!! :)

how exciting! its cool to read where everyone picked for there honeymoon.Hawaii seems to be a popular one. but I have never been and all my life envisioned it for my honeymoon, FI and I brefily through around the ideas of Fiji, Paris or Australlia... but we figured Hawaii would be just what we want, relaxing. and not a super long flight for us.
Love reading about everyone's honeymoons! We are doing 14 days in Africa -- safari in South Africa, safari in Tanzania, then beach in Zanzibar. I'm so excited.
Africa sounds amazing... I could barely get FI to go to Hawaii don't know if I'll ever get him there...
We're leaving 2 days after our wedding and spending 16 days in Thailand and Vietnam!
We are going to Kauai! His grandma had a week saved up from her timeshare in Vegas. We are going to exchange it and upgrade it and itll be $300 total for 7 nights and 8 days.
Its a surprise!! My FI and I made a deal. He only had to help me with the food, his attire and the honeymoon and I'd do everything else. I amd REALLY hoping he choose Fiji. I have been hinting at it the entire time we've dated that I want to go there and hopefullt he's listened. So we'll see :o)
I love all theses choices, I wanted Fiji but we agreed on Hawaii... I really really wanted paris, but that will have to wait... he just wanted to relax and not have to worry about going somewhere where there would be a language barrier on our honeymoon, oh the silly things that stick out in his mind...

So just wanted to see where everyone is going for there honeymoon, when your leaveing and how long your staying.
I am going to Maui for ten days, and we were lucky enough to get a great deal though Costco travel so we are staying at the Ritz. Talk about fancy... never stayed anywhere so nice before... so looking forward to it wish I was leaving now.... but we have to wait. We are leaving the morning after our wedding.
Anyone been to Maui and have any sugesstions as to must do or must see things. Any great places to eat or shop?
