So last week I wrote a post about the Pastor going MIA. If you missed it here it is.
Well that situation still hasn’t been resolved. I was able to get my Mom to back off but we’re still scrambling to find someone and the programs need to finalized today. I have like six family members who won’t commit to a meal, the seating chart is due Friday and I’m starting to really lose my shit. I need support!

I’m sorry you are having a rough time and hope it works out for you. Can you threaten the family members that if they don’t pick a meal they won’t get one or that you will pick one for them? As for you issues with the pastor I don’t have anything useful to say other than I hope he gets his crap together.

@basketballwifetobe: i am so sorry you are going through this. how frustrating. sounds like the pastor your mom wants is not reliable. can you get the pastor who you originally wanted? if he is not available, can he reccommend someone else? can you put off the programs until a bit later? even if you have to take them to kinkos to print the week before, they can and will get done. i can’t remember how many guests you are having but if those six guests don’t commit to a meal, i would call or email them and just tell them that since they have not chosen a meal, they will be receiving the beef. period. (if they don’t want beef, they will contact you.) my wedding, as you know, is small but i found a great way to do up my seating chart manually and the final seating chart on weddingwire.com. let me know what i can do to help.

First, breathe. You’ll get through this.
Second, attack the problems one by one – make a list of the things you need to do, and it’ll get more manageable.
Programs? Print ’em. Make them as general as possible, and don’t use a pastor’s name.
Are the six family members definitely coming, just haven’t let you know the food? Did the rsvp date pass? And you followed up with them? If so – you’re in the clear. If you have two menu choices, order three and three. And politely let them know that you were forced to order for them.
As for the pastor, I saw the earlier post. Awful sitch. But it seems like there’s still a chance the original guy will do it, even though he’s been a flake? What happened with your current pastor?

Thank you ladies for all of your support. I met with my DOC yesterday and she was so helpful. She went over everything with me and I feel a lot better.
Still no Pastor but we do have a Justice of the Peace on standby. Things are coming together.
