Is anyone else going through the same thing as me where every decision I’ve made all of a sudden feels like the wrong one….
Today its about the colors I’ve picked…
The ceremony and reception are all at this old mansion overlooking the long island sound…
My dress is white. I haven’t ordered my bridesmaid dresses but they’re going to be the frosted violet color from Jim Hjelm. (color 1) I love peonies and hopefully I can have them at my wedding if the weather works out in our favor and they will be mostly white and the pale pink color (color 2). In the groomsmen tuxes the vests and ties are a slate gray color (color 3).
The reason this is coming up now is because I’m about to sit down and make all the rest of my invites (the stds were gray and pink) but I’m going to throw in the purple on some aspects of the invites.
Do you think all this will look ok????

I think it will look gorgeous, too.
Snippet and Ink has a purple and gray inspiration board here; I know it doesn’t have pink in it, but you get the general idea… and Elizabeth Anne Designs has a gorgeous muted pink and purple board here. It’s so pretty and feminine, and it would be fantastic at your venue.
I just noticed too that they have irises– and if they’re in bloom, they’ll match your color scheme!

to me it works & is very flexible, what mood do you want to evoke
gray can be more modern
pink is more romantic/feminine
purple can be very classy/elegant
depending on which one you emphasize, it would evoke different vibes
based on your site, however, I would consider doing reception decorations where gray is the accent, since it’s not a modern venue, but you could make it work either way
