hugs, sorry you are having a rough week.

i got married on a saturday (10/19), AF was supposed to arrive on monday (10/21). maybe it was stress, but she came on 10/18 and the second day is always my worst day, talk about nightmares coming true.

i was so nervous about wearing my wedding gown.  but everything was fine.  and let me tell you i have the best friends.  they helped me in the bathroom a few times and held my dress while i changed my tampon.  if that’s not close friends, i don’t know what it.

Take a deep breath  it’ll all be ok.

My carpal tunnel flared up like crazy today and I’ve been at work on the computer for 3 hours with 9+ more to go. ugh

BakerBee16:  Everything will work out just fine.

The most important thing is that you’ll be married.

Here’s my advice, do something nice for yourself. Even if it’s something little like taking a walk, a nap, reading a book. It can be as short as 15 minutes, just give yourself some time to collect your thoughts. A lot of the things that seem to be bugging you are vanity related. I’m certain that your eye will be fine by friday, and if you are on your period during the wedding, that’ll be okay to. I think you’re probably just hyper aware of everything that’s going on, which is causing you to get upset. Just know that on your wedding day, you’re going to be happy and it may not seem like it now, but I’m certain it will all fall into place. The more you worry about the vanity issues, the worse you’ll feel. Just try to detach from that, and focus on the more important aspects of the wedding.

Boooooooooooo! Sounds like a whole lot of crapola! But this stuff is all out of your control, so you gotta just roll with the punches. Take some time to de-stress (take a walk or a bath or read or cook something yummy or whatever). Focus on the things you’re looking forward to and how awesome your wedding is going to be! I was super stressed the week prior to my wedding and then we had torrential downpours and hail (In August!) at my outdoor rehearsal and I nearly flipped out. But I was able to remind myself that the important thing was marrying my husband and celebrating with my friends and family. Then on wedding day we had fantastic weather and it was one of the best days of my life!

You and your wedding will be perfect and if it’s not, you’ll still be married to the man of your dreams at the end of the day.  🙂
