Oh no!! I am so sorry to hear!! Do you remember where you removed your ring last time? Also, I would let the jeweler know so that other diamonds do not fall out.

ksn1219:  I’m so very sorry 🙁  I really hope you find it. Chances are it fell out when you took your ring off last so look around that area. I know this is a long shot but since most diamonds have fluorescence I’ve heard you can take a black light and shine it over the floor or ground etc..if you lost a diamond and it will glow.  It probably won’t be a strong glow so you would still have to look closely but It’s worth trying

Do you wear it to bed? I would check the sheets, bed, floors, and by the little dish. I am SO sorry and I really hope you find it somewhere

ksn1219:  Oh no! I am so so sorry this happened. I wish I could reach through the internet to give you a hug. I would also be heartbroken if that happened. I’m hoping you might find the stone in your home somewhere. *fingers crossed*

ksn1219:  This is terrible news, I’m so sorry:(

I would go back to the jeweller, at the very least he/she needs to check all the other diamonds. Tell him you have lost all faith in the integrity of the ring and are worried about the other diamonds falling out (even though they are being held in differently).

How long have you had the ring? I think I remember you posting about it recently but not sure if you have had it for a while or not.

ksn1219:  That’s next to no time! so frustrating. Even though it won’t buy your mothers diamond back I would be asking for some kind of reinbursement. He could put in your mothers birthstone in the hole so that a) you don’t have a hole in your ring and b) it still symbolises your mum.

ETA: This is assuming you can’t find your mother’s diamond. I have my fingers crossed that you do x

ksn1219:  Do you have any other jewelry of your Mom’s that can you can wear for awhile? That might help.
