Im thinking of ordering fake cherry blossoms to try to pull off this look… Any opinions? A florist said these would be around 500 per center piece for real cherry blossoms. Any tips ladies?? Or any sites you have ordered from that you wouls recommend? I figured the fake ones could be reused… (if I have a baby gir maybe cover the entire ceiling with cherry blossoms)

luot: Those are stunningly beautiful centerpieces!
When we mortals see extravagent wedding decor, we often have to think “How can I scale this down for my wedding?”
Go to a store that sells silk flowers and gather up all the branches you can find in the store, then price out that bundle. It will still cost a fortune. I would venture a guess that there are at least $200-$300 worth of silk branches in one of those centerpieces.
Then do some research to see other cherry blossom centerpieces on a smaller scale.

Thank you for your post!!
I reallyyyyy want to have the exact same look.. Large, extravagant, and overpowering! I’m thinking of ordering from sites like Ali baba?? Never done that before though.. So I’m kind of nervous. I actual saw a few giamt cherry blossom trees that resembled this picture for around 200-500 a piece. Im hoping to spend as little as possible though… Hmm

luot: If you have the budget, go for it. With that type of extravagent decor, everything else about the wedding also needs to be first class.
ps I highly doubt that it would be recommended to cover your baby girl’s ceiling with something so flammable.

At that enormous scale those centerpieces look like WAY more than $500 a pop. Those centerpieces are as wide as the table! Are you planing on arranging the cherry blossoms yourself? If so, keep in mind, cherry blossoms are very finicky and need to be conditioned over several days to get them to their ideal blooming stage, and if you go too far, the blooms all fall off. They are not an easy flower to work with.

luot: Those are really beautiful. However as a guest I find large centrepieces like this really impracticle. It makes it hard to converse with people around the table and it makes it hard to see the events that are happening especially if you are stuck on one of the back tables.
Just something to consider.
