Do you already have another dress? With less than 4 months, you may be running out of time to order one...
I'm thinking Pronovias and Allure has ruffled skirts that may have the same effect but it's hard to tell without seeing the actual dress.
How much are you wanting to spend? Is it possible to buy this as a sample at a ML store since it's from the '09 collection? If you buy it for $8K and later sell it for $3-$4K, would it be within your budget?
I agree with everything Meliss said above. Another option I would at least look into is Bride Power's gown locator service. It's a service where you pay $50 and they search for your gown at a discounted rate. If they can't find it for you for at least 40% off the retail price within 30 days, then your $50 is refunded.

It didn't work for me but I have heard that they are very successful at locating Monique Lhuillier gowns.

Not sure how much they are but for sure they are more affordable than Monique Lhuilier. I bought my allure gown about 2 months ago and it was 1400

Im in love with the Meriah gown from Monique lhuillier , but I cant afford a new one and I cant find a used one for sale :( My wedding is in July, and I just cant find another dress ( I love the skirt of the Meriah dress , I just cant find another dress with a similar skirt) this is really stressing me out arghhh!
