OMG, I saw your comment on a different thread and noticed that your wedding is in Williamsburg, and I thought, I wonder if she's getting married at the Wren Chapel? And obviously based on the above pic, YOU ARE! Congratulations, how awesome! I went to WM but FI went to VTech, so sadly I didn't think the Wren would be best for us, but have fun with yours!

thanks and LOL yeah Wren building all the way - i remember the second i step foot in it during the orientation and swearing of the oath that i wanted to get married there. I was stoked when it was available for our date. FI was hilarious though since he had only been to the chapel once when we went for vacation to CW, totally didnt get the significance of the site until i told him the history - now hes all gung ho about it. And VT and W&M go well together - now if it was UVA... that would be a different story 
i'd go with the Marisa one because it's sweetheart neckline makes the dress just that much sweeter than the other one :)

@spaganaya Hah that is awesome, I love that he's excited about it now. Did you get him to kiss you on the Crim Dell? FI and I haven't been in the 'burg since our first few months of dating so we haven't had the chance yet, but when his little sis graduates in May and we fly into town for that, I may drag him over there :)
OH and regarding WM, VT, UVA - oh man, he hates UVA about ten times as much as anyone at WM! We took a walk through Charlottesville once and he looked like he wanted to punch someone the whole time, it was hilarious.

@littlestbirds - OMG i am totally laughing like a maniac. charlotesville is a great town - but i NEVER go there because i just cant stand UVA students. seriously who calls their campus "grounds"? it sounds like a coffee house :)
and yes we did kiss on the crim dell - it was before we were engaged and i didnt tell him about what the crim dell meant until later since i didnt want to freak him out! lol

I really like the second dress over the first one because I think that the straight neckline looks better on you than the sweetheart neckline.
I love the lace Marisa - it's really flattering and I think the shape is a bit more classic. You have a beautiful venue!
I like the Marisa much better than the Demetrios. It has such a simple sophistication to it...so flattering on you too!
I like the first one in the first pic (think its the Marisa) but the Demetrios is also beautiful. Lovely lines on both. Beautiful venue too!
I think the Marisa is gorgeous, the lace is lovely. And the sketch is pretty good too! You could frame it as a keepsake. :)

Psst, I'm also trying to decide between two dresses, if anyone cares to offer another opinion.
its so sad that after reading the hark upon the gale references i just sang the chorus of the alma mater! and p.s. theres some dudein my building that has the W&M license plate with HRK GLE on it LOL
and im giddy about my dress - one less thing to worry about and FH will LOOOOVE it :)

I have two dresses that i LOVE. They are very different in style though. both are fit and flare/trumpet silhouette.
One is Demetrios Platinum DP180. I would remove that band thats just under the boobies. The detail on the dress is goldish antique looking lace and its more lace "trim" instead of full on lace with lots of sparkles.
Two is Marisa 802. Its all over lace, and i would add bits of sparkle in random places on the dress to add that "sparkle". I have a pic of me in the dress and a sketch of the dress since you cant tell the shape from the pic i took since its a sneak pic LOL
both i get the same "i love this" feeling in. and theres not much difference in price - one is 2200 and one is 2650... and thats without negotiating...
I am attaching a pic of my chapel too so you can see the style of wedding i am going for...
what do yall think? i am stumped on which to choose - im going back tomorrow to try them on again.
