I tried on a similar dress at Alfred Angelo that I can’t find on their website, but it was a dropped waist, beaded corset strapless sweetheart neckline dress with an organza skirt that was gorgeous, and I believe it was in the $1500 price range (sorry, I don’t know the exact amount, but from what I was looking at, it seemed to be in that range).  Go to an AA salon and see if a consultant will know which one you’re talking about – it might be a bell dress?

I also tried this on (more of a natural waist):

These are very pretty dresses! Love the style of the layers.Have you thought about having it custom made for you? I’m sure you could stay in your budget having it made

where r u located in ohio? There is a place in worthington ( just outside of columbus) one saturday a month they have an event called wed the dress, it’s consignment and sample dresses, 40-60% off. The dresses are pristine condition, designer dresses.  They have a website. I so wanted to go but I only had a four month engagment and found it too late to go 🙁

@shortie and futureknight: that Alfred Angelo dress was the one I tried on!  I’m glad you were able to find a picture of it, too bad it didn’t work out.  They have so many other dresses at Alfred Angelo though.  Any luck elsewhere?
